This went out to the Facebook open group “The Believers Initiative”. Anyone that wants to better themselves in every aspect of life is willing to join.

Anyone that knows me knows that I am intent on being informed about past and current issues. I was contemplating the objective of this Group Forum
: To help advance believers in every aspect of their lives. So I took the 21 principles of Christian Living as revealed to me by the Holy Spirit and I wanted to address the 5 that are lacking the most.

21 Principles of Christian Living

1. God above all else ( When God is placed first the process of power begins)
2. Always know that God is in control (This is the essence of faith)
3. Constantly renew your mind and your thinking (transformation begins here)
4. Daily intake, digestion, metabolism & inculcation of Bible doctrine
5. Always look to give more than you receive (Fill your space)
6. Wholeness of Life (let no area be in lack)
7. Living in true abundance (finance is only a small portion of true abundance)
8. Guard Your Tongue & Understand its power. (Life & Death lie here)
9. Maintain the Temple (our bodies; health, fitness & nutrition)
10. Teach others as you learn (Of whom much is given, much is required)
11. Build up rather than tear down (Christians have become good at the latter)
12. Forgive (Forgiveness is one of the greatest ways to reclaim stolen power)
13. Live in your purpose (Your Purpose defines your pain)
14. Honor God in your Walk (This is your greatest testimony
15. Allow Praise to become a daily practice (Praise confounds the enemy)
16. Work in harmony with all believers (stop being a busy body & complainer)
17. Accept Correction (Only a fool despises it)
18. Maintain a heart of gratitude (take notice of the simple things)
19. Develop a sense of order (Without order chaos rules and little is accomplished)
20. Expand your vision & God will enlarge your territory (We have been trained to
think
small, criticized when we open up to the possibilities (God is not a god of
mediocrity)
21. No surrender; No retreat (God takes not pleasure in those that draw back)

When we follow these principles victory is inevitable. When I began to delve into the things that were troubling believers most, I found the following 5 things to be most prevalent.

1. Financial Struggles (falls under principle #3)
2. Fitness and Nutrition (falls under principle #9)
3. Relationship Issues (falls under principles #11 and 17)
4. Poor Vision or Dwarfed Goals (falls under principle 20)
5. lack of Knowledge (falls under principle #3)

Each of this issues are due to lack. The issue is always lack.

25 “This is the inscription that was written:

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN

26 “Here is what these words mean:

Mene[e]: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.

27 Tekel[f]: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.

28 Peres[g]: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

This is the famous passage in Daniel dealing with the writing on the wall. Belshazzar was weighed in the balances or searched by God and found to be lacking. Any area of perpetual personal struggle is always due to a lack of the virtue that provides foundation and strength in that area of your life. This is why we are to have an abundance in every area of our life, not just focusing on wealth.

We are going to address these issues head on. The first thing that I want each of you to do is determine which of these areas of struggle apply to you. Determine what the exact need is. Second you are to determine which of thse areas you are strongest in and decide the best way to use your strengths to help others with weaknesses in the area of your strengths. If you know of courses, products, people and other resources, prepare to share them with the rest of the group beginning Monday. If you have something you want to share before then thats fine too. I need all of you Entrepreneurs, Life Coaches, Motivational Speakers, Spiritual Leaders to step to the forefront. I will provide support on several fronts. I will provide insight from my years of experience as a business owner; Health, fitness, health, and holistic living from my expertise in the fitness arena; and scriptural foundation in order to build the foundation on which we will build up each of these areas of weakness.

Let every one you know that is in need of help to come. Tell all the heavy hitters that this is a chance to give back as well as generate business within the guidelines of the program.

Together we will make a difference, not only in the lives of the people within this group, but the people we come in contact with outside this group.

Okay, lets do this.

P.S. Pastors, I have some special resources to share with you. Those of you in the Dallas and Houston area should contact me directly. This includes Author and Publisher Andrea Taylor of Third Chapter Press

For the past month I have been talking to you about the power of the mind. I have iterated on multitudinous occasions that in order to change your current state you must first change your current state of mind.

Educational psychology states that a learned person is one with a vision of unified knowledge. He does not like being restricted to seeing things from one dimension. He prefers seeing things from multiple dimensions and combines them into an integrated perspective. His thoughts, visions and projections are unified and in harmony with his direction.

In the arena of Business Administration many companies are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that the old model no longer works. These companies are now recruiting executives that are emerging from the new school of innovative thinking. Yes, they are looking for thinkers. Social evolution requires the ability to shift the model. It takes a person that is able to consistently exercise thought in several realms or dimensions to insure that the current model is effective. In this arena there are three major thought processes:

  1. The first is “reflective thinking”; this is a place where you allow your mind to flow freely and think freely without being confined to organized system. If you are putting in energy and effort into this realm of thought then it is not truly reflective. This type of thinking opens up the possibility for creative thought. It creates the capability to function in the second realm of thinking.
  2. The second realm of thought is “lateral thinking”. Lateral thinking, also known as thinking outside of the box, is a thought process in which preconceived boundaries are removed and alternative ideas are entertained. Lateral thinking is the reason that a young entrepreneur who has been told that his passion will not translate into a viable business in the present economy still flourishes. He has learned how to think outside of the built-in boundaries of his niche.
  3. The third realm of thought is “critical thinking”. This is the thought process by which you analyze, anatomize, re-examine, and recalculate your processes. This is the analytical realm that when properly navigated reduces errors and maximizes opportunity.

Example: Reflective thinking will provide the idea of how to build your loved one a beautiful gift from wood. Lateral thinking will give you the idea that cutting the traditional way as explained in the instructions will give you a generic product, whereas as simple change in tools and angles will offer something that will be truly unique. Critical thinking will cause you to examine the cutting angles and tools used with precise thought and consideration given to each detail. What this does is reduce the chance of error and the loss of a valuable piece of wood.

All of this has been stated in order to stress the power of thought. Listen to what the creator of Mind Reality; who happens to be a Christian by the way, says.

The secret of wealth is consciousness of wealth. In order to
experience abundance, you have to be abundant. Abundance is your
true nature, and when you think, act and live according to it, you
will manifest abundance. The rich in mentality get richer while the
poor in mentality get poorer. The accumulation of material wealth
begins with wealth consciousness. Pursuing spiritual development
before working on wealth creation is the key to attaining both
inner and outer riches. The outer is reflection of inner.

The secret of health is consciousness of health. Disease is a lack
of ease psychologically and physically. Conflicting thoughts and
feelings in your consciousness is what causes this state of
distress. When you notice yourself becoming sick, watch for
conflicting thoughts that have arisen within your consciousness and
resolve them. Either push them all one way or the other, or find a
way to hold them in a harmonious way. External remedies only cure
symptoms but dealing with consciousness cures at root. (see Bishop Rick Wallace for a more detailed explanation on sickness and healing)

The secret of secrets is the consciousness of secrets. All the
truths about life are not secrets, but they are hidden from us due
to our ignorance. By thinking about the discovery of truths as a
search for the secrets, we motivate our subconscious mind to go on
a treasure hunt. The greatest treasure in this world is wisdom, and
life is to be played as a treasure hunting game. Treasures are
meant to be appreciated and so when you think of truths as secrets,
your appreciative mindset will draw them all to you.

Written by Enoch Tan – Creator of Mind Reality

Can you at least begin to grasp what is written here? Everything he says here has strong biblical foundation.

“As a man thinks in his heart so is he…” (Prov. 23:7)

When I first decided that I wanted to be an entrepreneur years ago, I was blessed to have an awesome mentor who spent the majority of his time, not giving me different business models that were certain to work, but teaching me that poverty is a mentality and so is wealth. This is what Enoch was speaking of when he said, “Abundance is your true nature, and when you think, act and live according to it, you will manifest abundance. The rich in mentality get richer while the poor in mentality get poorer. The accumulation of material wealth begins with wealth consciousness.” When you find yourself in any kind of pit or grounded in any area of your life it can be traced back to your thinking. We all fall into places where we fall victim to what Christian Author, Joyce Meyers calls “stinkin thinkin”. Our way of thinking sends us down a path of destruction and delay. The Christian should have a thought process that is inundated with Christian doctrine. The Christian should not have a mindset of lack because the God we serve is a God of abundance.

Proper and accurate knowledge that is put into action is the execution of wisdom. There must first be the apprehension of knowledge:

“My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge.” (Hos. 4:6)

The knowledge that is apprehended must be put into action and its progression facilitated by faith. This means that you believe that what God has promised you as an inheritance is already yours as long as you align with his will.

Remember what Enoch said, “The rich in mentality get richer while the poor in mentality get poorer.” What this means is what separates the wealthy from the poor is not socioeconomic boundaries; it’s not geographical impediments, it’s not racial discrimination; those are simply built in excuses for failure. What separates the wealthy from the poor is the mentality of each. Understand this: In order to truly become wealthy, you must become wealthy in your mentality. Money is simply one of the manifestations of your wealth and is the conduit through which external expression of that wealth is most easily witnessed. When you gain this understanding you will never be imprisoned by money again. When you grasp this truth you will never experience poverty again, even if your bank account is empty. You may be asking how that can be so. This means that you have not grasped it just yet. Money is simply a medium produced through the power of the mind impressed upon life. As long as you understand wealth and you think in abundance you will always recover.

When I say think in abundance, I am not speaking of daydreaming. There is a place and time for that; it falls under the reflective thought process I spoke of earlier. In this instance, thinking in abundance means careful and intent consideration of what is before you and the power you have been given by God to obtain it.

“But you shall remember the LORD your God, for (S)it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deut. 8:18 NASB)

As we press forward in this journey of elevation this year, I will continue to present new truths that will allow you to adjust your thinking. There are opportunities out there right now that will produce cash in abundance, but I tell you that until your thinking has change you will not be successful or like most lottery winners, you will have fleeting riches. It is not the opportunity, but the mindset. The mindset will automatically uncover opportunities. I will eventually present opportunities, but I want to establish the need for proper thinking or it will be a waste and a source of frustration.

I pray that this short treatise has in some way blessed you. If it has I encourage you to pass the link on to others so that together we can raise the status of believers everywhere.

Bishop Rick Wallace

” Throughout the past centuries, mankind has been looking to the outside for improving the quality of our lives. Technology has developed and advanced to a level where we can do many things we couldn’t possibly do before. It’s amazing how far the genius that God has put in us has turn out to be. Now at the turn of the millennia, mankind is beginning to turn from looking outside to looking inside to exploring and developing the vastly untapped potential that lies within each and every one of us all along.” ~ Enoch Tan”

1 Therefore (A)I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to(B)present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice,[a]acceptable to God, which is your[b]spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not (C)be conformed to(D)this [c]world, but be transformed by the (E)renewing of your mind, so that you may [d](F)prove what the will of God is, that which is good and[e]acceptable and perfect. (Rom. 12:1-2 NASB)

In my previous writings I pointed to the need of the Christian believer to rise up and live in the greatness of their design. There are too many Christians that are walking around defeated and devastated by life’s circumstances. There are too many Christians that are walking around perplexed by the vicissitudes of life.. There is, without question, a need for Christians to walk in their elevated purposes.

As I stated in my previous contribution, I will be presenting some covenantal truths to you over the next 52+ plus weeks. These truths are biblically founded and point to the power of God and the veracity of his words. These truths have the power to elevate and establish those that are willing to receive them as truth and to walk in them inexorably. We will see as we move forward that God honors his Word and He has established a covenant with His people to provide for them, to protect them, to prosper them, to work mighty works through them; however, there is something that has to take place in order for the Word of God and the work of God to function optimally in the life of the believer; there must be a renewing of the mind.

I want you to pay very close attention to what you will read from this point because it will be the difference between your success in escaping all that has oppressed you. As we move on, those that are willing to change their thinking will see remarkable progress, while those that continue to think in the same old ways will find themselves repeating another year of the “barelies”, The “barelies” are a series of positions one finds themselves in due to erroneous concepts manifested through poor thought processes: barely getting by (financially), barely holding it together (emotionally), barely functional (in kingdom work), barely living (in every aspect).

What you will find is that some of you have excelled in some areas, but have struggled mightily in others. The ones that will be most difficult to reach in this process of growth will be the ones that are experiencing some level of success. You will think that you have arrived when you haven’t come close; however your perceived success will act as a barrier to true growth and prosperity in every area of your life. Some of you are unaware that you are in need of help because you have convinced yourself that your deficiencies are just a part of being human. Actually your deficiencies are a result of decision making.

I will be calling for you to move away from non-Christian worldviews. I will be touching on modern worldviews over the next several weeks. I will be showing you some of the ways secular paradigms are diametrically opposed to biblical doctrine.

In Romans 12:1-2 Paul appeals to the Roman believers to present their bodies as a living sacrifice that is Holy and acceptable to God. He concluded by iterating that this was there reasonable service. This was not something that was beyond reasonable expectation. With all that God had done in the way of grace, this was the minimal action that should be expected from the redeemed. What I want you to focus on is the second verse. Paul says, “Do not be conformed to this world…”  The word translated “conformed” is the Greek word “suschematizo”- meaning conform to the example of another. So Paul was saying that believers are not to conform to the examples of the world. If fact, careful study of scripture reveals that believers are to set the example, and when we do we reap the benefits of the seeds we have sown.

Paul continues by showing the Roman believers how to get out of the rut they were in by following worldly examples: “…but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” The word translated “transformed” here is the Greek word “metamarphoo” – it is where we get our English word metamorphosis, and it means to transform or change. So Paul says that the way we change ourselves is to first of all change our thinking. The bible is replete with scripture that points to the immense impact our thinking has on our life and our being.

“and that you be (BE)renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and(BF)put on the(BG)new [q]self, which [r](BH)in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” (Eph. 4:23 NASB)

7For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” (Prov. 23:7)

“You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the[p]superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matt. 12:34 AMP)

Don’t let Matthew 12:34 or Proverbs 4:23 throw you off with the use of the word heart; heart and mind are often used synonymously (or interchangeably) in the Bible. Actually the mind and the heart function in conjunction with one another as the perceptional functional faculties of the soul. I will cover this in detail in the upcoming weeks so that you may have at least a basic understanding of why it so important to think Bible doctrine.

It is paramount that you understand that a change in thinking is absolutely necessary to insure that you are able to truly walk in your design. Remember you were not designed for mediocrity. Despite what so many are being taught today, Christ did not make the magnanimous sacrifice he made so that we could live in the pit of poverty nor meander through the maze of mediocrity. We are not to elevate ourselves above what we are, but we are not to walk below it either.

I promise you, once you free up your mind to think biblically, you will free up your finances. Once you break your mind free, you break free of depression. Once you break your mind free, you will break free of sight walking. Once you break your mind free, you will break free of relational dysfunctionality. Once you break your mind free, you will break free of mediocrity. When you renew your mind, your spirit will be renewed and the transformation will take place.

Don’t allow the enemy to convince you that your thinking is perfect. Over the weeks to come I will reveal to you some erroneous concepts that have filtered into the Church that are 100% secular worldview, yet they are being taught by the pulpit. The concepts and beliefs has crippled the power of the Church and given the enemy an upper hand.

If you enter into this process of change and advancement with an open mind and a willingness to change, there is no limit to what the Holy Spirit will do in developing you. It is time to step outside of the boundaries of limited advancement and view the opportunities of limitless possibilities.

For those of you that are ready to make 2012 their year of coming out, I simply say be prepared to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Tell yourself right now, “Self, I am coming out of this with a new way of thinking. I am walking into abundance, I am walking into my designed purpose, and I am walking into all that God has prepared for me.”

I look forward to traveling this journey with you.

May God bless and keep each of you!

Sincerely,

Bishop Rick Wallace

Below you will find an email from the Barak Obama re-election campaign. I urge you to read it and provide your input on the content.

Last night, Democrats in the Senate tried to pass a simple piece of President Obama’s jobs plan that shouldn’t be controversial: provide money to prevent further layoffs of teachers, cops, and firefighters at the local level, and pay for it by taxing the income of millionaires an extra 0.5%.

This morning a lot of media outlets reported that the Senate “rejected” or “voted down” this proposal.

But that’s not what happened. The measure didn’t come to an actual vote.

That’s because every single Republican senator filibustered the bill — meaning they wouldn’t even let an up-or-down vote happen. Republicans have unilaterally decided not to allow even that simple majority vote on anything that might help the economy before the next election.

To be clear: This bill would have created jobs, and both parties have supported similar measures in the past.

But, sadly, some in the Congress do not feel any responsibility to act. As someone who has spent a lot of time working in and with the Senate, I can tell you that it’s a particularly low moment for the legislative branch of our government.

It doesn’t need to be this way. That’s why the President and our campaign are focused on fixing what’s broken in Washington. Right now, that means we’re going to keep the pressure on Congress to act, until every single piece of the President’s jobs plan — the parts to help veterans find jobs and get small businesses hiring more people — gets a vote.

So please, reach out and keep reaching out to your Republican members of Congress and ask them to give each piece of the American Jobs Act a fair vote.

Call them now — then let us know how it went.

According to our records, you’re represented in the Senate by Kay Bailey Hutchison: (202) 224-5922
and John Cornyn: (202) 224-2934

If you’re on Twitter, be sure to tweet at your Republicans in Congress as well.

We’ll have more on this soon.

To all reading this:

We have an immense responsibility to be informed and involved in the political process. We must not be led by false propaganda, but must invest the time and energy to see things as they truly are. We must examine the facts in detail to know exactly what is going on in Washington. I urge you to step up and make a difference. Impactful living is what every Christian must must do. ~ Bishop Rick Wallace
